The trinity trail
Walk – Read – Meditate
The tranquil “Dreifaltigkeitsweg” (or “trinity trail”) leads around the Frauenberg and is the perfect way to harmonise body and mind. The trail takes its name from the picture of the Holy Trinity in Brudersbrunn pilgrimage chapel which the trail passes on route.
In fact, the number three is a theme which is repeated throughout the walk: There’s a three-fold focus on history, pilgrimage and mediation, and each of these focus areas is also split into three fascinating sub-themes.
From Brudersbrunn chapel, the meditation trail leads steeply up the hill to the former lookout stone. Although the copious growth of the natural world now often obscures the view, the ascent is still well worthwhile. This unique loop trail mostly leads along leafy forest paths.
